Description

This is a box of spear points and butts held by the Lisanby Museum at JMU. The points include both old bronze and recent iron points of several types. The points would be attached to the top of a wooden shaft, the butts to the bottom. The butts are all bronze, and could be used to stand the spear in the ground or to wound an enemy.
